These terms apply to removals and storage services provided by OnCall Movers Pty Ltd (ABN 73 662 752 267) (“we”, “us”). By requesting a quote or booking a service, you agree to these terms.
Prices shown on our website (including the moving calculator) are indicative estimates only. We charge hourly on a depot-to-depot basis (from our Molendinar depot to your pickup, on to your drop-off, and back). Your final price depends on the actual time taken, access, and the truck and crew required, and is confirmed by our office before the job proceeds.
A website enquiry is a request, not a confirmed booking. Our office will contact you to check truck and time availability and confirm your day and time. A deposit equal to one hour's work (incl. GST) confirms your booking; it is credited to your final invoice. Deposits and payments are arranged directly with our office.
Hourly rates are charged per truck and crew, plus 10% GST. A minimum charge of one hour applies. We issue GST tax invoices. The balance is payable on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed.
Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellation terms for any deposit will be advised by our office at the time of booking.
We take great care with your belongings. You are responsible for telling us in advance about fragile, high- value or specialty items, and for ensuring safe and reasonable access (parking, stairs, lifts, walkways) at both locations. We do not transport hazardous, perishable, illegal or dangerous goods.
Storage at our Molendinar facility is billed weekly (plus GST), with no minimum term. Access is available during business hours. You may not store hazardous, flammable, perishable, illegal items, or living things. Uncollected goods are dealt with in accordance with the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1967 (Qld).
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the re-supply of the services or the cost of having the services re-supplied.
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
