How much do removalists cost on the Gold Coast?
OnCall Movers charges by the hour: $119 +GST for a 20 m³ truck with one mover, $159 +GST for a 20 m³ truck with two movers, and $199 +GST for our 42 m³ truck with a two-person crew. There are no call-out fees, no fuel levies and no weekend surcharge — the hourly rate is the whole price.
What does depot-to-depot mean?
The clock starts when our truck leaves our Molendinar depot and stops when it gets back. That covers the drive to you, the loading and unloading, and the return. We tell you this up front because it is how removalists are normally billed on the Gold Coast — a lower advertised hourly rate often just means the travel is charged separately.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes — a two-hour minimum. Most single items and small unit moves finish inside that window, so it is the realistic floor rather than a fee added on top.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A deposit of one hour's work confirms your date. It is credited to your final invoice, so it is not an extra cost. The balance is paid after the job is finished.
