We charge depot-to-depot (from our Molendinar base to your pickup, on to your drop-off, and back) in 30-minute blocks. All prices are +10% GST — no call-out fee, no minimum charge. How much do removalists cost on the Gold Coast?
OnCall Movers charges in 30-minute blocks: $80 +GST per 30 minutes for two movers with our 4.5 tonne truck (1–2 bedrooms), or $90 +GST per 30 minutes for two movers with our 9 tonne truck (3–4 bedrooms). There are no call-out fees, no fuel levies, no weekend surcharge and no minimum charge — the time-based price plus GST is the whole price.
What does depot-to-depot mean?
The clock starts when our truck leaves our Molendinar depot and stops when it gets back. That covers the drive to you, the loading and unloading, and the return. We tell you this up front because it is how removalists are normally billed on the Gold Coast — a lower advertised hourly rate often just means the travel is charged separately.
Is there a minimum charge?
No. You pay for the time your move actually takes, billed depot-to-depot in 30-minute blocks. A single item or a small unit move is charged for exactly that — nothing is rounded up to a minimum.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A deposit of one hour's work confirms your date. It is credited to your final invoice, so it is not an extra cost. The balance is paid after the job is finished.
